Abstract thoughts generate healing opportunities.

Lock down a curious mind and limit the excursions of a “connection junkie” who finds it difficult to wear a mask- physically & metaphorically, here’s what happens… A vibrant abstract art form emerges.

I challenged my shelf to read a few neglected books on my shelf: The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Understanding Einstein by Gary F. Moring and Schulz and Peanuts by David Michaelis. I had to alternate the two because they were a bit dry compared to ripping through shame with Brene Brown or escaping to chuckle with Janet Evanovich.

Always one to sign off “ In Light & Love”, I believe in the the power of words, thoughts and intentions.

With energy on my mind, I looked at the French press silt in the bottom of my coffee cup and saw an image. I snapped a photo then fired it off via text to my Uncle Scotty to ask what he saw. As a fellow creative and professional photographer by trade, he played along. We now connect daily with coffee texts, chats & interpretations.

Each day that I waded through Schultz’ journey and Einstein’s theories, I began experimenting with light and sound elements within my photos. It got my mind wondering if the water and beans could somehow be trying to share their journey. Thirty years in the jewelry business taught me that a gem will disclose its origin story through examining the internal characteristics.

Images began to mount and no two were the same, they sometimes displayed colors and given the same light or sound adjustments each image continued to presented differently.

Curiosity peaked, I researched water and found Dr. Masaro Emoto’s books on the consciousness of water. Five of books later, I was motivated to speak a blessing of gratitude over the water I come in contact with each day, as well as the water within myself.

My images began to explode with color and some even seemed to reflect the cultural and topographical origin of the beans. Fascinated and now a devoted Emoto follower, I took it a step further.

I asked myself, “How will the images change if I could somehow filter the negative energy experienced and recorded by the water?”

I began asking for all negative or trauma energy recorded or experienced by the water to be neutralized and released- never to be picked up again.

Not only did my art become more dimensionally dynamic and prolific, I have become a light magnet. Orbs appearing in daylight, dark and within my tub at night- the environment seeks my attention.

I create abstract art by documenting the energy expressions of a French press cup of coffee. I heal myself and the Earth through releasing negative energy.
